Painted hands

Students in Ms. Crystal and Ms. Cynthia’s class have been busy this week discussing primary colors and practicing coloring mixing.  They began by revisiting one of their favorite books, Mouse Paint.  The mice in the story decide to play in some red, blue, and yellow paint and end up mixing some of it together, surprisingly making new colors.  Students were asked to choose two colors of paint, dipping one hand in each and then pressing them onto the paper.  Next came the fun part.  Students rubbed their hands together to see the magic happen!!!  They ended up making purple (their favorite), orange, or green.  They now have them on display fo all their classroom visitors to see.
