During the Region 11 Golf Tournament held October 2, 2019 at Raven Rock Golf Course in Jenkins, Ky, Weston Miller proved that believing leads to achieving when he became the first ever student from Breathitt High School to qualify for the 2019 KHSAA Golf State Championship. An eighth-grade student, Miller said he got his start playing golf with his dad (who also happens to be his golf coach) when he was only about 3 years old. "My dad took me to Sugar Camp Golf Course and gave me my own little set of clubs. It is something we have done together ever since." Weston, who is the son of Beth Miller and Terry Miller, is very excited about the upcoming tournament which will be held next week at the Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Ky. Good luck, Weston from all the faculty, staff, & students at BHS. If you continue to believe, we know you will achieve!
