Fourth grade students are working diligently second semester. In math they are wrapping up a unit on fractions and will soon learn about decimals, while students explore point of view in reading. Emma Turner and Kylie Davis participated in the 4-H speech competition as well as Loretta Turner and Amber Stamper, who will be moving on to compete at the county level. In Science, students have studied energy and learned how waves can be used to send and receive messages and cause objects to move. They are currently working on a wave project with partners that involve google slides. Each week students strive to complete their assignments on Aleks, Study Island, Reading Plus, and Lexia. The students are thrilled when they get to move their number to the next level on the class charts for computer programs.
