Ice and Stones
by B. Whisman
This is an unedited photo I took on my Samsung Galaxy s6 at my dad's house up on a hill. I really love pictures of ice and snow so I wanted to take one for myself. Leaving the warmth of my house, I walked up on the hill and found this spot. The stones are frozen into the ground with a layer of ice embedding them for their winter nap. I really liked it. It reminds me of how things can seem so permanent for a while but will change over time. Like these frozen stones, which will not move without some greater force, nothing stays the same forever.
