Introduction
My name is Christy Strong-Taulbee.  I am a  5th-6th grade teacher at Marie Roberts-Caney Elementary School.  As a former Marie Roberts student myself, I truly feel at home working with some of the very educators that inspired me to become a teacher.


Personal Information
I am married to Craig Taulbee.  I have an eleven year old daughter, Ellie (a sixth grader at SMS) and a two year old son, Walker. We live in the Whick community on Hwy 1110 about 10 miles from the school.

*Bachelor of Arts- Morehead State University
*Masters Degree- Morehead State University

I am currently working on my Rank I and National Board Certification through Morehead State University and the S.O.A.R initiative.

*4th grade teacher at Rousseau Elementary- 2 years
*2nd  grade teacher at Marie Roberts-Caney Elementary- 7 years
