Bids will be received until 3:15 PM, Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Central Office Conference Room. The award for the bid will be pending board approval.

The Breathitt County Board of Education is seeking bids for the following items Sebastian Elementary School. For additional information regarding this information, please contact Will Noble at 606-693-4907.

·       Provide 200 tons of DGA to Sebastian Elementary Campus.

.        2 rolls of 400 foot long 12 foot wide road fabric to be placed under DGA.

·       Place and spread DGA in location as directed by District to construct a road and parking area.

The Breathitt County Board of Education is seeking bids for the following items Highland-Turner Elementary School. For additional information regarding this information, please contact Will Noble at 606-693-4907.

·       Remove and dispose of all playground equipment and mulch in front of building.

·       Cover and protect 3 drains before any work begins.

·       Add topsoil and grade to 3 existing drains to allow water to shed away from building in 91 x 100 area.

·       All disturbed areas to be seeded and covered in straw matting.

·       Place fabric and decorative river rock in 16 x 50 area underneath building overhang.  Use existing playground border to separate decorative river rock from top soil.

·       Dispose of remaining playground border.

·       Remove debris from existing 3 drains and leave drain protection in place.  District will remove drain protection once grass has established and soil has stabilized.

·       Grade 15 x 50 area and add top soil as needed.  Allow for water to shed away from building.  Seed and cover all disturbed areas with straw matting.

·       Install new synthetic grass surfacing, standard, 1 1/2" pile and 70 ounces per square yard of face weight for 50 X 100 facility

·       Bathrooms will be completed in pairs to allow for others to remain in operation
