Jackson, KY, July 14, 2020 – Breathitt County Schools, located in Jackson, KY, has partnered with Varsity Brands, the market leader in team sports, school spirit, and achievement recognition, on a multi-year agreement with their school partnership program, IMPACT, including a rebranding initiative for the district and all area schools.
Breathitt County Schools first teamed up with the Varsity Brands family through BSN SPORTS at Breathitt County High School in 2018. Seeing the value of true partnership, in February 2020, the district committed to a collaborative effort with Varsity Brands and its divisions– BSN SPORTS, Varsity Spirit and Herff Jones – to build school pride, student engagement and community spirit. Superintendent Phillip Watts is focusing on the rich history of Breathitt and dedicating best efforts with this vision statement in mind: Graduates Prepared for College, Career, and Community.
One way the district is aspiring for excellence is by working with school branding experts of VIP Branding through the Varsity Brands IMPACT Program. All schools received a new and refreshed brand that would build excitement and pride among students, faculty, alumni, and the greater Breathitt community. Breathitt County Schools is excited to unveil their refreshed brands and to elevate campus environments through facility branding products.
