My name is Marlene Hamilton and I am the special education teacher for grades 3 -6. This is my 16th year teaching and my 13th year at Marie Roberts-Caney Elementary. I taught 1 year at Breathitt High School, 1 year at LBJ Elementary, and 1 year at Rousseau Elementary before I found my home at MR-C.
I am married to Reggie Hamilton (SMS Principal) and we have two children Haileigh (10th grade student at BHS) and Jacob (6th grade student at SMS).
I graduated from Wolfe County High School in 1994. After high school, I received my B.S. in Middle School Language Arts Grades 5-9 and LBD Special Education Grades K-12 from Morehead State University. Then I received my M.A. in Elementary Education from Union College. Finally, I received my Rank 1 in Supervisor of Instruction from Union College.
